Explore India !!

Dreams under construction.........read on email exchanges between me and my friend prasanna....do you have anything to say about it.....put your comments.........

Murali,

Bigger the Aperture (small f number), more depth of field. Please confirm if this is correct J.

- Prasanna

--------------------------------------------------

its reverse..........
bigger the aperture...smaller depth of field...

so if u want more depth in subject keep aperture smaller...
eg:
photos of flower, butterfly with macro lens
birds, animals with telephoto lens...

but remember.... to compensate for low amount of light (due to smaller aperture) you have to keep the shutter speed less..... else you loose exposure......!!!

Now again observe the photo examples i have given.....
none of the those subjects are slow motion subjects....
if u want to capture them without blur u should have faster shutter speed.....!!!
faster shutter speed u loose depth.......
how to balance ..........?????

this is beauty and challenge of photography.....!

Solution tip:

Check what various ISO numbers do?????????

--------------------------------------------------------

Thanks Murali.

Checked your blogs mentioned in your signature. Left some comments.

Did you explore anything around Hyd?

Regards

Murali,

Should plan something soon . Life is becoming increasingly boring.

I have an urge to do something, but don’t know what. Let me know if you have any suggestions (except suicide !!).

Please share some ideas. We should be able to live ‘life’ our way for 10 15 weekends every year.

u can do one thing.......
lets start planning for Great India Exploration.....

But covering it in a single stretch is impossible.........
so we need to plan for shorter journeys........

Places covered should be more........
either it should have variety or single theme
like....temples, beaches, food culture, special forests, tiger sanctuaries.........etc....
collecting these info....planning for all these is big task......
but interesting....
i think slowly we can start doing this......

u can blog these plans....so no need to write it in separate papers...

my plan is to do it professionally.......make record of it in still photos and video...
like national geographic, discovery channel explorations
and need to find some sponsors.....

we can do it...planning is very important....
whatever we do it should have some target, aim....
should serve social cause......

wt u say?????????????/

Love you man!

You stole the words of my mouth.

Show me the starting point. Let’s do it one by one.

Anyways, We need approximately two more months for planning and other phases. By then our economic conditions will be slightly better (Hope so).

There will be multiple themes mainly concentrated on old temples (not the new ones with a lot of crowds and dirty surroundings), reserve forests, beaches and trekking spots.

Anyways we already have some temples and trekking spots in the blog. For the time being (read: next one year) let’s stick to these type of places in south India. We will complete the surroundings like remaining Hoysala temples, Badami, Pattadakal, Aihole, Srirangam temple, Tanjore and what not….!!!!!!

Whenever we do something, we will read related short write-ups and try to understand a bit of history. All the photographs going on to the public sites (blogs / photo albums) will be watermarked from now onwards.

Not sure about finding sponsors, but let’s not wait for them and continue our task. Will try to depend on public transport to the maximum extent and document all the routes and other details.

Let’s not add any unknown person now. We will go in our own ‘ishtyle’ and when we gain the momentum, we can think further.

Show me the starting point. Let’s do it one by one.

  • starting point is to relax.....and just think what to do...how to do.....what extent we can do????? last question is probably more important...like any normal tourist we can travel all around India; tell stories to all whoever we meet.....is it enough???? Can't we do more than that?

Anyways, We need approximately two more months for planning and other phases. By then our economic conditions will be slightly better (Hope so).

--To find answer to the last query (what extent we can do?) we may need more time...its ok...lets take more time.....

--National economics can be good....I don't know about mine !!

There will be multiple themes mainly concentrated on old temples (not the new ones with a lot of crowds and dirty surroundings), reserve forests, beaches and trekking spots.

---Probably answer to these questions-- what to do...how to do.....what extent we can do?????--can kill all dilemmas !

--It should not become just a tourist visit..it should become an 'event'....it should recognized as an 'happening'.......it should be documented...it should be photographed...it should be recorded....it should be saved, served and spread !

Whenever we do something, we will read related short write-ups and try to understand a bit of history. All the photographs going on to the public sites (blogs / photo albums) will be watermarked from now onwards.

--Yes, we need to publicize ourselves ...not because we need public attention...just to get sponsorship ! It is long term goal ..

Not sure about finding sponsors, but let’s not wait for them and continue our task. Will try to depend on public transport to the maximum extent and document all the routes and other details.

--We should be economically viable and profitable to sponsors then we can get sponsors.... We must intelligently think and plan ourselves to be profitable to others...... then i bet...we will get sponsorship !

--This process involves some business tactics we are not good at......hobbies and money support is like race story of rabbit and tortoise....if it is alone it can't pull the trigger !

Let’s not add any unknown person now. We will go in our own ‘ishtyle’ and when we gain the momentum, we can think further.

--just we need to define and execute "ishtyle"...

(Already dreaming of – Explore India)

--dreams are good....sometime reality may bite !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes Sir! Relaxing is in our blood J. Thinking is again one of our core area. But doing……. There are some hurdles which we will overcome for sure. We don’t want to tell stories to people, but we should be feeling good about ourselves that we have done at least one thing which we wanted to do J.

Ok. We will plan perfectly. But while the planning phase is in progress, we can take some trail trips to see our progress. There are a lot of exotic places around.

I was referring to my economics, not the national one. Now I am in such a pathetic stage that I can only plan ;).

it should be documented...it should be photographed...it should be recorded....it should be saved, served and spread – These things will be done anyways. But the way of doing things will improve only after we take some attempts towards doing that. Let’s start something and then move towards making the things better.

--dreams are good....sometime reality may bite !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are the ones which force you towards reality. Let’s take a plunge into it and see how things go on.

-------------------------------------------------------------

There are many people who have done t already….here is example…… but we can’t wait till we reach 50s…..
